    About the Opportunity

    DCG is looking for a full time Executive Assistant based in Surrey, BC. This will be a contract position for 3 months, with the possibility of extension. We are looking for a passionate and detail orientated candidate to fill this position.

    The Executive Assistant plays a key role in supporting the Vice President and ensuring smooth office operations. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Providing administrative support such as filing, reporting, and general office management to maintain efficiency and meet project objectives.
    • Managing schedules, preparing agendas, and coordinating meetings, ensuring seamless execution.
    • Establishing and maintaining administrative policies and procedures for the Vice President.
    • Reviewing and analyzing incoming and outgoing correspondence, preparing summaries, reports, and briefings as required.
    • Conducting research, compiling data, and drafting reports for presentations and decision-making.
    • Acting as a liaison with internal departments and external stakeholders, representing the VP professionally.
    • Meeting with individuals and groups on behalf of the VP, assessing issues, and recommending appropriate courses of action.
    • Upholding a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion in all interactions.
    • Demonstrating exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal communication.
    • Managing multiple priorities, taking initiative, and ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.

    About You

    To qualify, you will need the following:

    • Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, or related field (required).
    • 3–5 years of progressive administrative experience, including at least 2 years supporting senior management or executives.
    • Experience in the construction, engineering, or real estate development industry (preferred).
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
    • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
